Jorraine L  is a muralist and illustrator who can be found lost and languishing in hidden cafes, crafting philosophies and putting heart to artifice.

I remember a time when I was five six years old and my hands were uncontrollably drawing on anything i could get hold of. It came to a moment where the small young child I was with a pencil in one hand, was one day faced with a huge, empty, white wall. Curiosity got the better of the small young child and I drew a small thin squiggly. I was caught, and i was scolded and beaten non-stop in the toilet for three hours. I huddled in a ball under the sink and cried till i fell asleep, only to wake up with the pencil still in my hand. I never did let go of it. Sixteen years later with a pencil still in my hand, I have drawn, painted, designed and illustrated for various organizations and exhibitions. Looking at the future, I know that i’m unstoppable, because i still haven’t and never will let go of the pencil.
